Hellooooo Block 3 Classmates this is your captain speaking,
We started off a great class of math with a challenging mental math which I'm not going to lie I did horrible on. Then Mr. Max showed us what kind of t.v he watches after he teaches last night he watched discovery channel. He showed us an interesting sky scraper that is enormous.
Then we had the opportunity to ask for help on Word Problems. Mr. Max took us through some steps to show us how to do them.
Word Problem 1
In this picture we simply made our question turn into an x and a y from the information given to us in the question
This is a image from graphmatica that shows where our lines cross which shows the amount of time Gilbert and Chris drove.
Word Problem 2
We found out how much money Mrs. Garcia put into her accounts.
Word Problem 3
We found the amount of litres of water we had to combine with the 6 litres of the 80% solution to make the 24% solution.
After we were done working with the word problems we talked about what was going to be on the test and went over some questions that we will see on the test.
