At the start of class Max set a test date for Wednesday the 21st but he might change the date if we run out of work to do. After we got settled down Max taught us about the second method of solving systems “The Elimination Method”
Here are the steps to solving using the elimination method:
Steps
1 Chose a variable (either one works but one is better to work with then the other)
2 Use multiplication or division to make BOTH coefficients the same (or opposite) in the two coefficients
3 Add or Subtract the entire variable from the expression by causing it not to exist through arithmetic
4 Solve the left over variable
5 Proceed as with solution method

The class created an example that Max took us step through step on how to do it.
Im still a little sketchy with the substitution method.
