We began the class with what we do every class, Mental Math. After the Mental Math was done the class moved on to learning about Systems of Equations. There are 3 possible solutions. The first solution is called an ordered pair solution, were the parabola's cross. This is called a Consistent System. The next system is called an Inconsistent System, this includes parallel lines that never cross leaving this system with no solution. The third and last system is called the Dependent System. The Dependent System has superimposed lines (one line on top of the other), there are an infinite amount of solutions for both lines.
Also, questions 1-3 on page C-3 in the new package we had been given today must be done for homework. P.S. Richie48 is the next scribe.Friday, March 2, 2007
