So, today I'm taking over Captain Kolan's scribe today since he's gone curling with some of our other classmates. So, firstly we started of doing homework check. Then he told us how many objectives we have on Accelerated Math. Then it was a work period for the rest of the class.
So if you don't know how to do the exponential question for Accelerated Math. This is one way you can do it. You are given a question like this:
During 1991, 180000 people visited Rave Amusement Park. During 1995, the number had grown to 412000. Write an exponential growth function that models this data.
So firstly, you need to go to your calculator and go to stat plot and put this in you L1 0 for 1991 then you put the difference better your years below it, so it would be 4. Then you go to L2 and put in 180000 across from 0 and, then you put 412000 across from 4.
Then you turn on your stat plot.
You go your Y= button and type in your a)y=180000e^0.207x and b) and so on. But to do this quick look at your answer given. If it doesn't have the right number of people going to the park its wrong like c) it has y=232000e^.207x, so its wrong. A) is right because it has 180000 in it.
Then you Press second trace and type in the year difference. If it is close to the second number that it gave you its right. Example: It gives you 412000 and if it close to it, it's right. Example you get 411999, so you round it to 412000.
